I went to watch this movie awhile ago and it's a pretty good movie.
There's some cheesy parts but I'll let those slide hehe.

I loved it. Very accessible to non-fans, and a very mature, serious take on the character. This version is minus any of the camp present in the previous installments. I can't say anything bad about it.
Can't go wrong with really badass ninja training sequences.
10/10 stars

I saw it last night myself. It was GREAT. It wasn't just about him fighting crime...the backstory was great. Except for Morgan Freeman, I didn't recognize any of the cast. I also thought the ending was good.

Yeah I'm gonna catch it tommorow. The last 2 movies had me worried that Batman wouldn't be able to get his credibility back, but this movie looks tight. So we'll see haha.

They signed on for two more batman movies after this. Christian bale will be batman in all three movies, and next possible villian? Thats right, the joker, played by mark hamil, where if any of you watched batman the animated series when you were a youngin, Mark hamil was the voice of the joker, so we're getting a whole new perspective here ;)
Also, these three new batman movies they have going here are all completely unrelated to the other 4, so they're gonna do what they want how they want without having any contribution to the other 4 movies. Just something i felt i should add in.

I have never seen a movie that made me clap when it was done. This is the first movie for I've seen that I clapped when it was done. This movie was nothing short but amazing. Personally I think it was better then both spider-mans. I've been filled with the urge to go out and buy comics again thanks to this movie. I'm definetly picking this up on dvd and maybe I'll go see the movie again. This movie is the win.

No. Freaking. Way. Are you serious? Mark Hamill was an awesome Joker, now he gets to play him live-action? Score.

I don't think this is confirmed yet. I am not sure the direction they are going with the Joker, but in the best telling of his origin in
The Killing Joke , he was portrayed about the same age as Bruce Wayne. I was never a fan of Jack Nicholson as the Clown Prince of Crime, and I think with the darker undertones of this new series, we will get a more sadistic psychotic Joker.
Like I mentioned, check out "The Killing Joke" for a great Joker origin. This story also shows how Barbara Gordon ends up in a wheelchair.

Don't shoot down that idea yet Dive, rumors do come true! And as a man who works in a mall of gossip majesty, all of the comic nerds and video game nerds say the possibility of having mr. hamil as a joker is an exquisite possibility.
This rumor poisons the air, anything is possible ;)

AICN has posted up another rumor concerning the Joker. Apparently Christopher Nolan has expressed interest in casting Sean Penn in the role. Could be interesting but I don't see it happening.

I saw this movie not too long ago, and I must say it was excellent. They certainly got Batman right and they really delved into the character Bruce Wayne and understanding why he is and does what he does.
I'm eager for its sequel.
The only odd part was

Just got home from seeing this at the theater and I must say it was spectacular. I had no prior knowledge of the makeup of this movie and was thrilled to see that it included Ra's Al Ghul. He has always been my favorite Batman villain from when I used to read the comics. The beginning sequence with him was friggin awesome.
I can't wait for the next installement. If you haven't seen this yet, do yourself a favor and get to the theater. You won't be disappointed.
