Oh Hells fucking yeah! This is both awesome and bad news for me. While GiTS has become my latest addiction, my wallet can only afford so many special edition DVD's! Any word on how far in production they are?

I'm definitely looking foward to this.

As long as they maintain (or improve!) the production values they had in the 2nd season, I don't care if this show keeps going for 1000 episodes.

Not only is it incredibly well drawn and produced, but the level of inteligence and depth of the whole series is most exellent. It really inspires alot of outside-the-box thinking and theoreticizing. Things like Ghost in the Shell inspire two of the most important questions I feel humanity needs to continualy ask itself.

Wow, comparing the 3rd season to the other two, you can tell that they really took the animation quality up a notch. Batou lost the pony tail!

A little info that wasn't at that site. the story takes place 2 to 3 years after season 2, it is gonna be a 100 minute long movie(how its gonna be release is still up in the air), and the plot involves a puppet master, but it might not be the puppet master.
