Decisions. I thought of getting Geist to have a really powerful Double Saber. I'm still deciding.

If you are a cast, like my HUcast Kesho, I think Jellen or Zelare would be most helpful to me. I hear that it exceeds a lv30 tech.

Id like to get a rifle with the hell (death special) I think i chose wrong too. heh It would I want to call my rifle Karsawa after the fabled Plasma Rifle From Armored Core. :-D

My champion sword just got outfitted with zalure last night. Methinks I'll get my hands on an s-rank gun so I can zalure bosses like DF and OF at long distance.

Talk about tough decisions...

Right now I'm thinking:

Zalure on my (eventual) Partisan
King's on my Slicer
Blizzard on my Twin... if it actually freezes stuff. <-- Any ideas/thought/comments on this?

Either way, I'm pitifully low on PDs right now... so I have some time to think about it. ;p

my mate blade went for zalure, and at 50 PD's i've gotta say it was a rip off. Blade TWIN+250 in ULT forest, i do 300 per normal hit regularly, add the zalure and it makes the normal hit go 2 about 420...... not a great boost, and in ruins and stuff it's less, i much prefer my demo comet to it.....

i like the sound of that hell's one tho.... a hell type on S-rank mechs...now that'd be some good fun!

Ozza, let's compare that to normal Zalure real quick.

You say your damage went from 300 -> 420. A boost of 120 points, or about 40%.

Rinn's level 20 Zalure boosts her normal attack damage from 255 -> 285. That's only 30 points, or about 12%.

I haven't checked it explicitly, but if I remember correctly level 30 Zalure gives about a 20% - 25% increase in damage.

Yeah, 50 PDs is a lot. But a 40% boost to damage output is pretty nice, especially for solo play or for bots. Epyon, could you tell us a little about the effectiveness of Zalure on your Sword? Is the damage boost still about the same? How about the success rate? For that matter... Ozza, what's the success rate of Zalure on your Twin? Does it apply the effect with every successful specail attack?

I've been thinking about putting Blizzard on my Twin to incapacitate enemies. But unless it freezes with an exceptionally high success rate, I think Arrest would be a better option.

I put Jellen on my S-Rank Shot because I really don't have anything else I'd want to put on it

Well, I originally voted for the Hell special. I'll probably put this on my second S-Rank when I get it (a Rifle for my RAmarl). However, I'm thinking about getting the S-Rank Partisan first and putting Zalure on it for my HUcaseal. All in all, it looks like I've got quite a bit of PSO to play... considering I still have to finish CMode twice (with two different characters of course ) and get up to 50 photon drops for the first special.

Berserk Partisan! Mwayhahahaha! People will have to start resurrecting me more once I am able to do this. (My friends back on DC PSO hated me with soul banish)

Ok i'll admit the Zalure is good, but even so, if i use zalure and Blade's Twin (the S-rank isn't mine, i have to chars on C7 atm), then attack woth it it is still quite alot weaker than my DEMOLITION COMET, so it's only purpose for me would be to use the tiwn, then change weapon and attack, and i only ever like carrying one weapon at a time (i have a tendency of either FSOD-ing, or my GC's motor knackering in), so i'm more inclined to go for say a Photon Booster for my Flame visit or lots of small things for various items than spending 50 PD's to make a weak weapon by a bit better than it used to be.

I gave my Rifle Demon's at first, tested it at Ult Seabed, and was uber pissed at the results. It missed like 80% of time, I shit you not! To a squid!

Realizing the horrid mistake I made, I went back to Gallons, and saw that I could replace the special. :D (with the pdrop fee of course, not a free replacement) So I gave my rifle Zalure, and it's pretty dang potent, I'm doing a spiffy 700 hard damage with my Rifle now, and it's not even fully grinded.

Moral of the story:

Don't get Demons. >_>

i voted for berserk, with berserk on my godsbane sword, Claymore the highest damage i have done (in seabed) was 2555

i plan on getting berserk on my LINEAR RIFLE also, i predict it will be deadly effective from down range, and with RAcasts high ATA (206 base right now...)

im getting a shot ASAP to put zalure on, it will make leveling a breeze

those of you who played with me on ver.1 might remember me using a Berserk Calibur. well its back with a vengance now

That is sick damage indeed. Except I'll be opting spirit instead. I'd rather lose TP than a ton of HP.

Yeah that's what I wanted, especially for my mechguns

I would only see my self getting berserk, spirit, jellen, or zalure. Depends on the class. If you have a mess load of Sranks and your a bot, getting jellen/zalure/and berserk would be useful.

In general if you got a FO on the team, berserk would seem most useful.

May I ask what the grind on the twin is? I thought they went to +250 and were around black king bar power by then

For myself, I'm working on a Spirit Shotgun. According to the stats posted, spirit is the same power as berserk, but wont get you killed from lack of hp, it'll just get you killed from lack of tp to cast resta =P

Naw the twin starts at 50ATP and grinds to 250. By that time its ATP will be 550.

and it is a BLADE TWIN+250 , and not as good as my DEMO COMET.... it boosts similar ATP, but for some reaosn it does a lot less damage, despite my DEMO having 0%'s (well i have a 25% machine one, but that i se on my HUcaseal)

yea but S-Rank Twins are 1000 times cooler than BKB or Demo Comet

I'm still thinking about it. I did take the advice of several people and went with the Twin. I think it will be good to get away from the p.wand and get into meleeing with it or a B.Rifle or A.Harp.

I can't decide. Zalure would do +10 levels then my 30. Spirit would be safer than Beserk but I know the double damage wouldn't be as great as if I was a fomar or hu/ra. *considers* Hp is about 1100 and tp is about 2200, rounded down.

Well, you've got the TP to burn, that's for sure.
