New crossover fighting game from Capcom with Tatsunoko Productions, a big anime production company. They have a shitload of characters in their stable, ranging from Speed Racer to Evangelion, Samurai Pizza Cats to Teknoman, Robotech to Gatchaman, and anything between. Right now the only confirmed characters are Chun Li, Ryu, Gatchaman dode, and Casshern. 3d graphics in classic 2d gameplay, like SF4. I hope capcom reps Resident Evil, DMC, Lost Planet, and Dead Rising in this one, along with their classic shit.

Yeah I saw this yesterday, sounds awesome to me haha. As DE said though, I think this has a incredibly low chance of making it here, but we can only hope. Man... it'd make my year if Capcom gets DMC in the mix... and Speed Racer.

who cares if it doesn't come out here. i mean it's a fighting game and i dont think any current systems have reigon locks. anyways it looks awesome. i hope it has tekkaman blade 2 characters(aka teknoman season 2)

The only current gen console that isn't region locked is PS3. Wii is fully region-locked, and most 360 titles are region-locked.

Did you say that with a straight face, cause you damn well know systems don't stay region locked for very long.

I was responding to Alisha's misinformation that "i dont think any current systems have region lock". Obviously if you're going to mod/flash your system then you can run whatever you want. However, seeing as this game in particular is a Wii timed exclusive and Alisha seems to intend on importing it, she'll run into some issues if she expects her Wii to just play it without any mods.

True enough, but I think that's what she meant when she posted that, but we'll have to wait for her response.

Got this game Friday, and I'm deeply in love with it haha. It's been a long while since a Marvel style VS game has come around, so it feels great to have the crazy combos and team attacks back. The controls are even more simplified than MvC2 is, but you can do some great things with what you have. I still haven't figured out all the bells and whistles like Baroque Combos, Snap Backs, and Team Air Combos, but I've only had the game a couple of days haha. Oh, and this game is easily the prettiest game on Wii. I was actually kind of shocked to see the size of the character models, and also how good it looked on big ass TV haha. It's definitely a must buy Wii game, and is likely the best fighting game this year, but the import cost is pretty damn steep. I'd maybe wait until it's cheaper or um... use other methods to give it a play. Henshin-A-Go-Go-Baby!

Dude, I hope this is some kind of clue. Phoenix Wright was supposed to be in Tatsunoko VS Capcom :o. I hope they go ahead with it in the Western version, that'd be TOP TIER.

I that "in localization his move would be too big" excuse is bullshit, because I don't think Capcom had any intention of localizing this game when it was being developed. Although he would rock as a new character for the US release

Rumors are the remaining new characters are going to be Frank West (Dead Rising), Zero (Mega Man X), Yatterman #2, and Joe Asaskura (Gatchaman).
