Dante and Deadpool look crazy fun to play, and Chris Redfield too. That final combo where he uses every weapon was awesome!

holy crap thats fucking amazing. Chris redfield is fucking cheating, no way he can carry all those weapons, they use more then two inventory slots!

Duuuuuude the game is looking so awesome. It really is like Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Tatsunoko vs Capcom combined, which is perfect in my book haha.

I can't deny it, as a comic geek some stuff bugs the HELL out of me:

- to see some zombie-shooting, normal gun wielding, POLICEMAN handing Iron Man's ass to him
- Anyone hurting the hulk at all
- Deadpool not regenerating his health (healing factor, hello?)

But I guess you have to even it out or the game would be dumb. Besides, it's confirmed on the marvel multiverse wiki that the marvel characters that appear in these games come from an entirely different parallel universe than the one in the comics. That fixes everything.

I love Deadpool's voice actor, he sounds spot on "Bang! Bang bang bang!"

A very nice detail is the characters calls out the name of the character you tag in.

Tanshin, I don't think fitting this in with the established comic book canon has ever been the goal in the VS series. So that wiki officially stating they are from an alternate dimension is funny to me because the games is never meant to be apart of anything. MvC is more like taking a character's familiar likeness and abilities and pitting them against another in some kind of fan fiction dream match. Just a flashy, spectacle, fantasy fighting game.

Having the Marvel characters in there is for marketing purposes. They are an established franchise that people are familiar with; more likely to spend money on. You can easily replace all the Marvel characters with original characters, but retain their basic abilities, and the gameplay would go unchanged. So I would not get too bugged over inaccuracies because they not really the Marvel characters you know, just their likeness is.

Dood I've explained it to alot of other people before, but in the first premier video we saw of Chris versus the Hulk, it's a total mismatch for THE HULK. Have you seen the shit Chris does? Fucking uppercutting boulders and fighting Wesker with his Matrix abilities, and lets not forget the thousands of tyrants he's dispatched. Chris Redfield is like a genetic combination of Chuck Norris and Jet Li's role from that movie The One. He's mad hax.

I LOVE the way the special move effects look, especially stuff like the flames on Super Skrull's attacks. The game looks overwhelmingly fast and flashy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Well Super Skrull has all the powers of the fantastic four, so its like getting all those characters rolled into one dude. That's better than picking like one or two of the team members and then everyone being "bubububu why didn't you use the thing?"

well i think the best way to handle the fantastic four would be to have one main member but to have summon attacks as well like captain commando.

Who would the main one be? Mr. Fantastic is stupid, Human Torch is an asshole, Susan Storm is a woman, and the Thing is just an orange Hulk.

Yezzir. If you look on the official website you can see that there are slots for two more characters. Early reviews say that there are 36 characters, not counting any DLC characters. So it's likely we'll see two more characters that will be DLC. I'm hoping that we get any of the Mega Men haha. If we don't that's ok cuz...
