Just wondering if anyone else around here plays SC, been playing everyday lately my self. A lot of my friends have been getting into it, so thought I'd ask here.

So.. *pokes everyone* anyone?

I used to play alot, as the humans. I never went online with the game though. I would build up as quickly as I could, but whenever the computer was the Zergs (sp?) they would always seem to triple my efforts. I got frustrated quick and finally just gave the game to my buddy. Perhaps I didn't have the chance to really see the true fun in this game? I could always pick it up for $9.99 and give it an online test. ;)

I was talking to Rouge (shin faris on AIM) about this a couple days ago, he asked if I wanted to play with you guys . I'm no good though...I can only win offline when I use the cheats, ...I have absolutely no idea how to play without them, . Oh well, he sent me a cool site with some strategies and stuff, I'll read it later when I have some time. I'll play with ya'll then

I used to play starcraft a lot back when it came out. One of my friends at school is still into it, and I played with him a few times. I'm not too great, but its still fun to play.

I don't have a particular favorite team, I usually just leave the selector at random and go with what I get. If you guys want to play a game or two sometime it would be cool, provided I can find my old CDs somewhere.

Same here. I was addicted to it and since I had the house networked I played my brother lots in two player games. I started off with Terran race...the Yamotto cannon kicks some serious butt. Seige tanks are cool when grouped and air defense is set up. They are basically unmoveable. They take out Archons like you would not believe!

I later switched to over to Protoss as they are really buff stuff. The Dark Archon is my favorite along with the Archon are my favorites. I love what the Archon says when you keep clicking on it. Controlling Battle Cruisers kicked when you were Protoss...if you were lucky to find a unguarded enemy mining colony you could snag a SCV without them even knowing it and build your own Terran base....heh.

unfortunately, i haven't been playing much of StarCraft like i used to; at the height of the game's release, i was a 24/7 zealot...my first race was Terran - it's all about Arclite Seige Tanks - strategically placed, they're brought the pain to many of my opponents.. ^.-

Yea if y'all up for a game anytime, just IM me, I always love stomping down comps, or a 1 on 1, 2 on 2, whatever for a good friendly brawl (comp stomps aren't friendly, I always humiliate the comp no matter what )

Race wise, I'm a devoted Zerg fan. (I like em all really though, so I'll pick random a lot)

Anyway, I'm Sgt.Retehi, usually on the wes side servers.

I never had luck with the dumb computer. Even on easy it does zelot rushes to me early on in the game. That is why I played my brother than a open mode computer opponent. I liked the computer in WarCraft. If it was going to attack you by sea it just kept bringing ships to the shoreline while my balista, which outranged them, beat the tar outa them. Nothing beats an upgraded balista, the same in starcraft, nothing beats a fully upgraded Yamoto Cannon...or Seige tank for that matter!
