I just wanna wish everyone (to whom it applies) a very happy and safe Independence day! Don't blow your hands off with fireworks now.

Wow, I had a great 4th. A BUNCH of my buddies and I got together for a good ol' fashioned grill out. We also had the fridge stocked up with a good amount of beer as well. A funny ladies even managed to show up and spice things up a bit. ^.^ All in all, minus a little rain, the day went well. The food was good, the beer was good, and the fireworks were... well... there. I sure am regretting staying up so late though. I didn't get home until 3 am and I am now sitting at work at 8:30 am. So, yeah, I'm feeling quite delirious. Anyhow, hope everyone else had a great time as well. I wish I could've found myself on PSO last night, but for obvious reasons, didn't make it. After I get some sleep today, I'll definately try to get on. ;-)

*nods* indeed, 4th of July was a good day - my family spent the evening dining at a wonderful restaurant just outside Old San Juan at Condado, Puerto Rico - well presented with lots of flavorful treats, the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was too as well as the choice of wines & ports.. =) all in all, the experience was fantastic; afterwhich, we returned to SJ & took an evening walk through the city - surprisingly, this year had no fire-works shown.. =. however, earlier that day - the Armed Forces set-up a military demonstration & fired blanks from artilery cannons at the fields of El Morro (the fortified fort of the Spaniards at one point in history.. ;p), then combat choppers flew in close proximity above us in honor of 4th of July - impressive, i'll admit - a little loud though.. O.o
