Full Version: Getting Episode 3?
Apocalypse Tribe HQ > Diversions > Phantasy Star
Dive
There was an older poll about Episode 3, I think it's time for an update.

I would like to get it but I am not sure if I will have the time to devote to it.
Retehi
A simple "No".

Never was, and never will be interested in it. >_>
Zorya
No, and hell no. Turn- and card-based battle? For a "live action" online RPG? No thank you.
Ether
Probably not. I don't see myself having the time or interest once FFXI hits stateside
Crushinator
Hah, well for a change of pace...yes I will be getting it. Looks like lots of fun to me.
HC82
Maybe, I need more info about the game. Secondly, most of you from the older version of the AT forums know that I've been planning to get FFXI when it comes out(remeber the ffxi info I posted). If EP3 comes out at the same times as FFXI, i'll either get both, or if EP3 doesn't peak my interests by then I will just get FFXI.

So you get a big fat "Maybe..."
DarkEpyon
Yup. And I'll be importin too. Sort of a given seeing as I'll be getting the real thing thanks to the trial. Damn Dive, that FOnewn (or is it a FOmar) in your av looks badass.
DivA
mmm ~ TFLO.. ;p

well, i'm certain that many here know where i stand in regards to episode 3 ~ other interesting titles are on the horizon, i gots to make time for those & once TFLO is released, all my attention shall be focused on this one.. =)
Azrael
I am getting it but after being Mesmerized by the FF11 screens that Raven and Gawl126 at DScc took, then I'm gonna have to do some good thinking to come up with a good schedule for both.
Vitamin D
Yeah, you can count me in for it. toast.gif

That's pretty much how I feel, even though I'll probably get the game regardless. Like many others, my anticipation is on FFXI. When that comes out, the ol' PSO HL may be cancelled for good. >_>
Riel
I will get it for sure but i'm pretty sure i won't play for over 1000 hours like the other PSO's,because of other games like FFXI and TFLO...
AC9breaker
yea, like they say. Dont knock it till youve tried it.
Layrinn
Being the total sucker for all things Phantasy Star that I am... I am going to get this game when it hits the States. From what I've seen, it'll be worth it alone just for all the new artwork in the game. Whether or not I play it much will depend on a number of factors, such as if it's actually any fun and how much I'm getting into FFXI and/or TFLO at that time. If I had to guess right now, I'd say ep3 won't be getting very much of my attention. But I'll at least give it a shot.

Although video card games have always been kinda "eh... =/" in my book, I do enjoy turn- and strategy-based RPGs. Remeber that Phantasy Star started life as a turn-based RPG. However, I share you skepticism here... I'm not sure if it's a real good concept for an online game.

I'm pretty sure that's Cervantes from the Soul Calibur series, not any PSO character.
Bryn
I've never tried a card game before, but there have been numerous strategy games in the past that I've really been into, and this might be fun as well. It's at least worth a try. If it doesn't see alot of play, at least it will look nice sitting next to all the other PSO games and accompanying gizmos in our collection. ^ ^

I'm getting it for sure once it hits the U.S. After the last import fiasco I don't think I want to mess with the hassle again.

Yes that is the undead Pirate himself. pirate.gif skullcross.gif

On a side note, how long have we been waiting for FFXI?

Do you think we will actually still get it here?

Scarry, brutish undead pirate thugs like him give sexy, mischevious HUnny pirates everywhere a bad name. ^.~

As for FFXI... don't quote me on this, but I've heard whispers of an October 28th release date for the PC version. We should be so lucky... that's not too far off!
Khaotika
Were it a different time, and I were a different person, yes.

As it stands now, no.

I simply don't care anymore about the PSO franchise. (Having an all Rappy deck would have been neat, though.)

I never originally planned to get the game until about a month ago. However, I have to save up for a PS2, Hard drive, Network Adaptor, etc. as well. Hopefully we'll see this baby in early 2003. I know a few Tribe peeps that I have spoken with have expressed interest in getting this title as well. I just hope it comes with the expansion set built in. ;)
DarkEpyon
The PC one hits in October, but my machine isn't quite up to snuff. I've wanted this game since it was announced along with 9 and 10 back in early 2000.
