Wow, I got hit with some serious inspiration today... I created this pic from scratch, start to finish, in just a little over four hours. o.O

And for the first time ever, I'm actually happy with how the face turned out. ^.~

Yikes, those eyes are scary! O_o; To make them a lil less scary, lighten up the black lines on the bottom part of the lash, and add eyelids covering a small portion of the top part. I'd add a little more shading on the arm, right now it looks like she's breaking it to reach out her hand.

Have another look and see if you think the eyes are any better. I may give the eyelids a try later, but to be honest I'm afraid if I screw with the pic much more, I'll end up messing it up. ;p

I'm not sure what you're getting at about her arm... could you explain a little further, please?

Oh yeah, much better. These eyes have a nicer, more "come hither" look to them.

As for the arm, it's a little hard to explain. Take a few steps away from the screen and you might see what I'm talking about. The perspective is a bit off, due to lack of shading on parts of the arm. Around the elbow is where I'm mainly focused. She is supposed to be sticking out her hand at the viewer, but the shading isn't strong enough for it. The arm looks like it's deformed a little, and she's draping it to her side, while extending her hand. A little darker shading on the palm of the hand where it naturally creases doing that gesture also couldn't hurt.

Ok, I looked at it from a distance like you said... and I agree, it does seem a little off. But I can't quite see how to correct it. I think I'll leave it for now and look at it again another day; maybe it'll be more clear to me then.

Just a small update: I moved the caption into the pic itself and added Rinn's shadow.

Y'know, just a small criticism, but I think the ears should point upward more, if at all possible, and maybe even a tad bit smaller in size. But hey, that's just me. =]
