~what was/is everyones' favorite candy during the halloween holiday? least favorite? i remember, during the youthful days as a sprout ~ my favorite had to be candy corn; my least favorite were those "3rd-world class" pieces of bubblegum that had weird flavor - ick.. >< i no longer eat candy, gave all that up long ago ~ however, for halloween - i'll honor the tradition with a piece of (good quality) dark chocolate.. =)

Least favorite would have to be the fore mentioned evil peanut butter chews.
Favorite would have to be a toss up between those little wax harmonicas and pixie stix.

Milky ways! any size!
I dislike anything I find on the bottom of the bag, which usually consists of pocket change, and coupons for carpet cleaners.

WHat I always found weird is, where did all this candy come from? On Halloween there is candly that you can't find the other 364 days of the year, that always got me mad, I wish I could eat orange and black bricks of sugar every day.

Like DivA, I rarely eat candy anymore. But I always loved Twix, Peppermint Patties, candy corn, and the occasional Kiss or Dark Chocolate.
Yum. ^^

I try not to eat candy very much anymore. But my favorite would probably be those little hershey's kisses with almonds.

I was a big fan of the candy corn.
Do you guys remember having to collect for UNICEF when we were kids? Damn, I remember it was like we were put on a major guilt trip if we didn't come back with that little box full of change the next day at school. Do they still do that anymore? Am I showing my age?

Snickers has got to be the best. Mmmm peanuts and chocolate. 3 Musketeers and Milky Way are closely behind tho. (GAH, now I'm gonna have to raid the vending machine at work!)

Kinda reminds me of those Cadbury Creme Eggs around Easter time....mmm.
I dunno, I was never a big fan of candy corn....always tasted kinda waxy to me. I remember eating/chewing a lot of those big ass pieces of "Super Bubble" bubble gum they used to hand out at school Halloween functions. I freakin' LOVE 100 grand candy bars, though. Chocolate....caramel....crispies....TOO GOOD.
Interesting (if sad) Fact: I have never once in my life gone Trick or Treating. Visiting relatives houses on Halloween night doesn't count. Also, during the past 18 years in this house, our family has not had any kids come by for candy, ever. Sometimes it pays to live off the beaten path....which means we get to eat the leftover stuff we buy "just in case" we actually get visitors, lol.

I was all about the twix bars, the butterfingers, the reeses peanut butter cups, and the snickers. I loved that stuff. Our family only served the high-quality brand name candy! That cheap stuff just wouldn't cut it for us.
