~wow, deja-vu.. ;p anyways, for all x-box owners that wish to coordinate to play online games (PsO, Mech Assault, etc..) ~ let's discuss such matters here..

I now have X-box live, but so far only one game...PSO (I don't think Tetris Worlds counts, lol). I just couldn't help myself, I must aquire all things PSO.

~& how.. ;) the things we do for the hobby we love, oui? i just finished setting up my x-box station; i figure either tomorrow night or the day after, i'll sit & set-up x-box live to play PsO.. now all i need do is figure out what to play as this time around; a toss-up between HUnewearl or RAmarl ~ hmmm.. =.

What are some other games if any that anyone plays? I would say RTCW but I would rather play Enemy Territory on PC. I know FFXI will consume all free time, but I just want to know if anyone plays anything on XBL?

PSO on XBL is a nightmarish landscape suited only for locked teams with friends. There is no hope whatsoever for open team play. I don't even want to think about open C-Mode teams.

Ok, I just got my XBL thingy today, set it up (my buddy TJ is playing Tetris online as we speak.)

So what do we all play on here? I picked up Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and I have Mechassault and Tetris Worlds. What else is fun on XBL??

I am planning on buying the Xbox LIVE kit very soon. So, you can count me in on the online fun anyday now. I already have several online enabled games too:
1. MechAssault
2. NHL 2K3 - last years, not the espn version
3. NFL 2K3 - same thing

I might pick up PSO if I found it for cheap. :D

I have PSO but i would not really recommend it just because of the voice chat...everything else is the same as the GC version.I have Ghost Recon Island Thunder and will get Crimson Skies next week.Midtown Madness is fun for a few nights so it's a good rental...i had Wolfenstein but sold it along with MA.I also have UC but rarely play it.

So, DivA, is everything set up? Are you online Xbox Live style?

I saw that MechAssault is down under the $20 level. I think that game kicks major bootay. And it's online capable, with downloads too.

My man and I have been playing XBL since last December, but we mostly play FPS online. I tried PSO but didn't have enough friends on the xbox version so I just quit. If anyone wants a royal beat down in Rainbow Six 3...we will be glad to hand one out...lol.

I do not have my kit yet cause 1) held up playing GC PSO, 2) not sure about keeping our broadband service or not and 3) spending the money on other games. And there are so many new games coming out too! Decisions!!

and DivA, I am finally seeing the light, I think. The lack of PSO (inevitable) and the general lack of discussion about anything has made me rethink it all. The good thing is that I am rediscovering old games that I have not finished. RE One!!

*nods* no worries, scu ~ i've learned this much, nothing stays the same forever - to cling to the past can potentially hinder us from the new adventure(s) that currently surround us.. =. the elements of the internet will always be available for us to communicate, & there will be other online console games for all of us to meet in ~ all in all, me thinks that the changes that have taken place are a good thing.. we are now free to explore, & finish those 97.9999999% finished games that have haunted us in our dreams.. ;p
