~the ETA for the jp release looks to be nov 27th; being that i search & collect things PsO related, i've decided to import both game & memory card.. ^^ i'm currently searching for web-sites that have decent pricings, found 2 thus far from the same web-site - so i'm keeping this in mind..

above are the 2 set prices for that web-site; my question being - is this a good price or are there other jp import sites that are preparing to have them for less? =.

Both prices seem reasonable to me. I paid a very similar price for the import of EP2, and the memory card is worth it just because it looks so freakin cool. ^ ^

Video Game Depot & Buy-Rite have it for just a few dollars more, so I guess I'd just go with whatever company have the best reputation.

This may be a silly question but....

I know the HL covers both EP2 & EP3, but can you use a US HL for the import EP3, or would a JP HL need to be purchased?

I wonder if the memory card comes with anything pre-loaded? Like the Animal Crossing card does. Or is it just a cool looking regular ole memcard.

*nods* this is true, the memory card is definitely a must have.. ^^ that's a good question ~ i hadn't considered the HL compatibility issue, but me thinks i'll most likely end up playing the import offline so i can better understand "why" ST decided to branch off in the direction of poke-yugi cards...if it turns that i likes the game, then i'll get the US version & play online.. =.

yah, the hori card looks to have a special pre-load of 5 special cards for use in episode 3 ~ if the hori card is to sell, then perhaps the pre-load could have 5 rare cards particular to the hori card.. =} the prices here seem a tad higher, but word has it that this site has a better reputation for shipping games in a timely manner in comparison to lik-sang.. I'm thinking that you will need a valid JP serial # and access key.
Otherwise, I don't know.
It won't matter as I have the import. =)
Unless I get the US version =T
