this one is speaking to me, especially after viewing the featurette; & it's about flipping time too, i have waited for the making of this since they supposedly announced it for 1997 - then the project fell through.. =. it looks to be that this one shall explain lots of detailed elements unknown before about earth's past ~ looks promising.. =}

i likes the storyboard art, there are some really beautiful sketches here; i am so there on opening day ~ enjoy..

One word - OMG ROCK ON!
He's the same guy who did the Resident Evil movie. Even if you didn't like the story (I did), the visuals sure were cool... so this movie should be top notch.

i've heard the script to this is god awful.. present day, similiar to the predator storylines, but it throws all continuity out the window. don't wanna give out too many spoilers, but the writers really dropped the ball. all they had to do was follow the comics, but oooh no. ah well, i'm still gonna see it, but it'll suck.

I'm pretty sure this is following an older AvsP comic storyline, back in the day, there was a mini series called Aliens Earth War, lasted a short time, but shows the aliens had some involvement before. (unfortunetly, I only ever read 1) Altho it ruins my theory since there is absolute LACK of marines (which pisses me off the most) and just scientists.

If they pull off this movie right, they could make an awesome sequel, they just gotta use Lance Henriksens character right (he'll play Weylen Yutani himself), probobly showing the birth of the corrupt corporation it becomes way in the future. (about 2230)

I had a well thought out timeline of the whole aliens universe, but if they don't do this movie right the way I'm thinking it, it'll just ruin it.

The series needs a seriously good revival after Resurection (I always thought ironic name, more like burial), so I have my hopes up for this one.

Cause I really don't wanna watch that anime.

If the dialogue sucks thats ok, no sci-fi horror or even regular horror has never had good dialogue, thats what makes them son splendiferously wonderful! their lack to create a good plot and make a good movie on both sides, so if it only has good action, whoa man, thats fine with me
