Full Version: Telepipe Trick
Apocalypse Tribe HQ > Diversions > Phantasy Star
Dive
Does anyone do this? and have you had any success making rare monsters appear? I did this in The Fake in Yellow quest on Ultimate and after about 20 minutes or so a Pal Rappy appeared. He dropped a Sacred Cloth. In Addicting Food I split Slimes for roughly 10 minutes until a Red Slime spawned. He dropped a PB Generate beigedead.gif

Any luck?

It's a great way to get rares. I think now I have all my hard-vhard drops. Mir finds some nice stuff in VR Temple on ult, but I'm going to level up a little more before I try.

I piped 10 times on the last room of Fake in yellow every time I tried it (about 7 times) and came up with jack squat. I still have yet to see an Al or Pal rappy on PSOGC. I've seen more Hildelts than I ever saw on v2, so thats something I guess. No red slimes for me yet, either.

I would do it if I had TP. It costs money to keep buying telepipes and I have to make that stop every 10 times, which can get annoying, it's not like the telepipes cost that much. I've tried it twice on "Fake in Yellow" for a little while, then just quit beigebigrazz.gif

Yes, I've done it countless times.

For Whitill.

I piped for about 20 minutes for a Pal Rappy, and he
dropped me a Red Partisan.

I piped for about an hour and a half (god what was I
thinking) for Love Rappy in ULT Temple for an Electro
Frame. Dropped on first try.

Heres the painful one...

I piped for maybe 20-30 minutes for a Mil Lily in Caves,
for a 1975 Agito, but I had to nearly pipe 18 damn Mil
Lilys till he finally dropped it.

Drop rates are weird this time around... One minute you're
easily piping rappies for something on the first try, next
minute you've wasted about a week for a damn Agito. x_x

I've been very successful when doing the pipe trick. It's worked for me 95% of the time. :D
