Fuuuuck 5 more days! Is this real life?
I am going to wait a few days or weeks to see if the PC port is not messed up. I was one of the ones that got burned on Batman Arkham Knight for PC (I got it 34% off on greenman gaming so I could not get a steam refund). Was going to pass on this game because of the whole Konami business (not the whole Kojima, but canceling games and shitting on Castlevania). However, I read some early spoilers and reviews and got hyped as fuck. Hopefully people buy this game so it makes up its insane budget. Maybe we can continue to have Konami franchises in the future, you know.
Ground zeroes seems like a decent port, I think it bodes well for TPP.

But yeah no reason to get burned on bad PC ports. At least you got steam refunds right?
i just finished ground zeroes(got it for free not long ago on PS+) will definately pick this up. just not sure if i want it on ps4 or my new pc that has thas a gtx 980.
Here is performance write-up for consoles:

PS4 on some cutscenes goes down to 30 FPS. Solid 60 FPS for gameplay.

A few PC games released in the last year natively support DualShock 4 controller. No need for drivers or special software. Big plus if this game does, and something I want to know. Batman Arkham Knight had both Xbox and PS4 controller support; the button icons would even change depending on what you used (at least they got that right). PC is usually the superior version in terms of performance, and you can use console controllers. So why not?

Unless you care about trophies and playing online with friends that also have the game. MGO is released in October for consoles, while on PC according to sources won't be ready until early next year.

I have the gtx 980 too. The Witcher 3 at 60 FPS with everything cranked up is amazing.

Despite the string of bad ports this year, I am in the camp of "if you have the PC hardware to push these games, get it on PC."
Hype is too real 2 quit!Click to view attachment

10 hours till it unlocks... losing my mind here at work right now, lol. I honestly have not been more hyped for a game EVER before.
im just getting a physical copy to save space on my ps4 hdd.
Konami trolled PC players, the retail PC version is just a disc with a steam installer. So anyone who wanted to go out and buy a physical copy and avoid the download got screwed, esp in places with limited or costly internet, such as Australia.
Yeah I read that. There is always something with PC ports. Bit the bullet Day 1 though. Too hyped! Downloading now.

Game is amazing so far. Runs fantastically, though there is some nasty screen tearing that in-game vsync does not fix (have to force in nvidia control panel).

PS4 controller works without software. But no button prompts nor rumble, so I am using DS4Windows. Darn! Even with Mouse and Keyboar people are saying xbox prompts still show up. They need to get this fixed. A bit unacceptable that tutorials don't display the correct inputs if you use Mouse and Keyboard.

I am bit overwhelmed with the open world in a Metal Gear game. But, its definitely immersive and I have lot to look forward to.

The episode thing is cool, but why do I think Kojima did this when the writing was on the wall he was getting axed. You know plaster his name all over the game as much as possible. It's weird direction for a video game. I could see if the game was released in sections; like Walking Dead and Tales from Borderlands. Though I vaguely remember this game was going to be released like that, but Ground Zeroes got a lot of flack? I could be thinking about another game though.
