I work as a security guard for 4 office buildings in the downtown area, betweenthe 4 are about 60 floors. Some nights I'm on patrol and others in operations. I've been with the company for over 4 years and worked at verious other places.

On the side note. Nyn, that sounds pretty fun and those websites look great. I must make a mental note to have you make a propaganda website for me, for when I run for president. beigesmile.gif

Whoo hoo! I'll start a new business... "Propaganda R Us". *grin*

It is fun - it sucks at times to do corporate websites, cause there's no creativity and you're bound by so much - but I do things on the side for fun too, and for some extra money, or bartering.

I get free karate photos for doing this one: http://www.kicksphotousa.com/
I get free riding lessons for doing this one: http://www.komeekafarm.com/

I can have fun with those. beigesmile.gif Between that stuff, and VoodooMoose, it keeps from being repetative and boring.

What a range of jobs we have here! Astrid, more power to you, I did "customer service" on the phone for 6 years as part of my meteorology job (we supported the client software/hardware on the systems they use to make those purdy graphics you see on TV that the weather folks stand in front of) - my GOD, I ran out of patience so quick, and for you to do that in a medical situation, where emotions can run high...you're an angel!

Dorian - my brother is parts manager for an Audi/Porsche place. His stories sound so much like yours...and he deals with alot of rich stuck up assholes, according to him, and they have to joke around to stay sane...it's the business, i guess! *grin*

Ham - the night shift! Urgh! I had to do that, except we'd switch around - 2 weeks of 8-4pm, then 2 weeks of 4-12pm, then 2 weeks of 12am - 8am. Your body never got used to it. The stress you must be under to work those hours for a week then readjust, and all the while dealing with possibly dangerous materials, when your immune system is already low thanks to the stupid hours? You guys amaze me! I'll stop whining about my job now, k thx bye. beigeroll.gif
