Capcom officially announced development of the true successor to the fighting game king, Street Fighter 4, today. HEL YEH. It's a year or so out from release now, but we can assume it will be (at least) for 360 and PS3 (and hopefully online!.)

Any doubts should be put to rest with this. The game looks TIGHT AS HELL. The animation is faster and smoother than I could have imagined, and the gameplay sounds intense. EDIT: The streaming vid isn't working too well right now since EVERYONE ON THE FREAKIN INTERNET is trying to watch it.
