I've checked with some people and the picture there is Nei's Claw. What else can ST be hiding? --d-_-b -------------------- |

The katakana in the name definitely says "Nei Claw"

from the JP translator I used on that it says Dark Green can get it, ( Viridian I'm guessing ) seems like some kind of advanced Nei's Claw, different from the one you get for exchanging Photon drops

Looks pretty neat. Too bad I freakin' hate the claw animation. It's gotta be one of the worst in the game, in my opinion. That third attack in the sequence is just... ugh. x.x It's really a shame too, since there are some pretty bad-ass claw weapons to find out there. =/

The reason why they have such a wonky attack is to counter-balance their ATP. If you compare claws to other weapon types of the same rarity/item level, they have a TON more ATP that your average weap. Really, the animation is no less cumbersome than a double saber or saber, you just gotta make sure you don't leave yourself open. I kinda like using them, but they (like sabers) are impractical for Ult Seabed.
EDIT: In that guy's post he says he got it from a Il-Gil, so I guess this is confirmation that there are different drops for different IDs with the new monsters. -------------------- |

Bryn noticed this but I wanted to point this out. Is she holding it like Heart of Pawm? |

My guess is that's the claw's "at rest" position, and it flips down to cover her hand when attacking. The photon blade is clearly the "business end", since there aren't any other pointy things like the Heart of Poumn has.

the claw is like the Dracoss Blaze (don't ask....logn story....hard to explain and also delves into my ghacking days...) in that it flips down, and is a lot bigger than the fake nei's claw. I think it flips down at least, as it doesn't seem to be in contact with the hand when it's still. I want one anyway, just need to know the requirements, as i wouldn't use it too much if they're that high. If they're really really good tho i'll make a VIRIDIA HUnewearl, slap all my stuff from Ozza and just go str8 to ULT lol.

Looks pretty cool, although Iam not a fan of the female claw animation. Despite the stat boosts you get from claws the delayed 3rd hit kinda gimps the weapon. Compared to any of the double sabers, they are alot safer, have wider radius of attack, and have a higher damage out put per combo. The one thing u can do though is perform a 2 hit claw combo with no fear of reprisal, although it's still too slow compared to a sabers 3 hit combo with no reprisal(on the proper enemies, ending with a hard hit).
