Sucks that you can't take names or records of your online battles with regular players, but I only cared about playing against people I already knew anyways. ;)

Dude... I saw the update this morning (at 1 am Mountain when it updates >_>) and I screamed like a little girl haha. There have been a lot of cool updates thus far, but the worry of Wi-Fi being just a rumor bothered me. This is the sweetest update yet. And yeah, now I can text my friends and be like "get on Brawl Mang," and they'll be all like, "k". And then we can even set up matches and what not here at AT too. This is like, one of my most anticipated games ever. I just uh... need to track down that damn Wii. >_<

We need to make sure to set up "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" macros on the D-pad

I hope there will be built in voice chat for Friend matches (no way they'd allow it on open ones of course.) at least between matches, if not during. Playing without communicating is so ghetto PS2 online style, and my TV is too far from my computer to use vent :(

Been following the Smash updates for some time now. Yeah they really going all out on this one.

Brawls newest update brings up a little more about Snake in brawl. His special move list, and hist stage music, which comes right out of MGS4! It's no lie that at this very moment Hideo Kojima has a complete hold on my life.

When the page was first loading up, it said "Excite bike" at the top. Of course my brain immediately interpreted this as the guy from excite bike being a playable character, and I became excited. Still cool what they did do, though.

Man I'm so giddy seeing all the images and videos. Sonic looks badass haha. And its awesome to see him and Mario kicking ass in Adventure mode like that.. man this is going to be one of the greatetest games ever.

For real man, online co-op, online battle, third party characters, scored music (I also like the juke box option.), a bunch of new fucking fight options, customizable vs matches, the new characters, and the story mode got a serious make over......This is the icing on the cake for me man, the only announcement that could exciteme more would be megaman.

NOTE: Should something come along and excite me more, I will admit my wrong.

I get goosebumps hearing the Kid Icarus music again, I loved that game even though it was insanely evil. Can't wait for smash!

When I was in elementary school there was this kid named Mike "Wooget" Snavely, and he ONLY had Kid Icarus for game boy, and he'd talk about it constantly. But he'd call it "Kid Eye-kack-arus", and I'd correct him constantly, but he wouldn't STFU. And he always wanted to "trade" gameboy games with me, but I was like "I don't want your shitty kid icarus, he sucks on captain N!"

So I always had this bias against the game. But eventually I did get the GB version from my mom for Christmas (one of those "this game box looks cool" purchases parents make, gotta love em.) So I gave it a spin and it turns out the game was actually fucking awesome.

Check it! Stage Constructor mode, where you can build your own maps, share them online, and set it to AUTO DOWNLOAD a new map for you every day. Also King Dedede is a playable character now, and you can record replays and share them online.

Smash Bros news been slow. But today's update brings us Multi-Man Brawl. Fight off enemies without dying. The best part is you can co-op online. While its not a new character or vet update, I think this is a pretty good mode of play to look forward to.
